Call for Papers

Presentations

Each of the four sub-themes will feature one keynote presentation (invited) and a minimum of six voluntary papers.  Papers will be selected from submitted presentation abstracts.  Program time scheduled for voluntary papers will be 30 minutes.  Please review the sub-themes to determine where your abstract would best fit.

Posters

Posters may be presented September 22 and 23 at the Canadian Ecology Centre.  Posters will be installed in prominent locations with time available for viewing during breaks and lunch periods.  Space is limited. 

Call for papers has closed
Abstracts will be reviewed and selected based on suitability to the program sub-themes.  Another consideration will be achieving participation from a diversity of countries and regions around the globe.

Notification of acceptance: May 1, 2008

 

Popular Summaries Publication deadline: June 27, 2008

A book of popular summaries will be published for distribution to all registrants at the time of the symposium.  A popular summary is a detailed overview of the presentation. It should be no more than 3 pages including figures, tables, and references.
